Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last Updated: January 14, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the S.W.A.G. Protocol and Natural State Systems infrastructure. Strict adherence to this policy is a condition of service. Violation will result in immediate termination of connectivity without refund.
1. Enterprise B2B Service Only
Natural State Systems provides critical infrastructure for commercial entities only. We do not provide services to consumers, sole proprietorships without verified D-U-N-S numbers, or unauthorized resellers.
- The Platform is strictly for internal operational communication.
- Access is restricted to authorized IP ranges listed in your Master Service Agreement (MSA).
2. Nature of Email Traffic (Transactional)
The S.W.A.G. infrastructure is optimized for high-concurrency transactional payloads. Permitted traffic categories are strictly limited to:
- ✓ System Alerts (e.g., Seismic triggers, Equipment failure).
- ✓ Workforce Safety Notifications (e.g., Evacuation orders, Weather warnings).
- ✓ Authentication Messages (2FA tokens, Password resets).
- ✓ Workflow Status Updates (Inventory logs, Shipping manifests).
Burst Traffic Notice: Due to the emergency nature of our service, "burst" transmission (simultaneous notification of >50,000 endpoints) is permitted only for verified Tier-2 and Tier-3 clients.
3. Zero Tolerance for Marketing & Spam
We maintain a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding unsolicited commercial email (UCE). The use of our infrastructure for marketing purposes is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of contract.
Prohibited Content Includes:
- Newsletters / Promos
- Affiliate Marketing
- Lead Generation / Cold Outreach
- Cryptography / Loan Offers
4. Account Verification & Consent
Clients warrant that all recipients have provided explicit consent to receive automated notifications.
A. Corporate Dominion
Recipients must be employees or contractors of the Client. Consent is implied via employment agreement.
B. Double Opt-In (DOI)
For any external partners, Clients must utilize a Double Opt-In mechanism monitoring IP, Date, and Time of consent. NSS reserves the right to audit these logs at any time.
C. List Hygiene
Use of purchased, rented, or "scraped" third-party lists is strictly prohibited.
5. Violation & Enforcement
If a Client's complaint rate exceeds 0.08% (1 per 1,250), NSS triggers an automatic suspension. Restoration of service requires a complete audit of the Client's data collection practices.
